New Atikokan Council Ready to Go

The new Council will be sworn in on Monday in Atikokan.
4-new Councilors will join incumbents Charlie Viddal and Sherwin
Durand at the Council table for the first time.
Mayor Dennis Brown says the first order of business is to fill vacant committee seats.
Brown says the next priority is securing a laminated lumber plant for
Atikokan.
Brown says Council must also remain active to ensure the coal-fired
plant remains operational by burning alternative fuel.
