After spending an off-season re-building, the new-look English River Miners are anxious to get going.
The club is coming off a disappointing season with only 10-wins, which prompted a major overhaul in the front office and on the ice.
Victoria, B.C. native Derek Sweet-Coulter is the new Head Coach.
He says this years team is quick, works hard and never gives up.
The 2015-2016 Miners have a heavy presence of players from Alberta and B.C.
There will be a meet-and-greet with the team and players Thursday night from 6 until 8 at the Ear Falls Arena.
