The new Chief Administrative Officer in Dryden is ready to get down to business.
Andre Larabie officially starts his job on Monday and he says he has a number of priorities he would like to address right now.
The first order of business is dissecting the suggestions of consulting firm PM and working with staff on formalizing the 2014 budget.
Larabie adds he will also be meeting with department heads to see if they can better manage their workload.
Larabie notes a number of positions have been eliminated or reduced and he wants to ensure department heads time is being utilized properly.
He stresses Dryden has a great staff pool and he’s excited about the future.
Larabie calls his hiring a golden opportunity and says he will use his 5-years experience in the Umlaut Territory to help turn things around here.
He notes the challenges are similar in both areas.
