New Contract for Educational Workers

Office, clerical and library staff employed by the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board have ratified a new contract.
The educational workers voted 94% in favour of the 3-year deal
that is retroactive to September 2004.
The agreement includes a 9.33% raise and a 19% improvement in benefits.
Both sides say talks went well and the deal suited everyone’s needs.
