Unionized employees at Community Support Centre Northwest in Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances have voted overwhelmingly in favour of a new three year contract.
The deal impacts 30 members of Unifor.
Local National Representative Stephen Boon says the deal runs from August 1 until the end of July, 2023.
Boon says it includes 8%-10% wage gains over the term of the contract, lump sum payments of $1,000 for full-time and $750 for part-time workers as well as expanded vacation time, additional paid sick and emergency leave days and increases in both mileage pay and meal allowances.
The Centre provides various levels of support for individuals with both physical and developmental disabilities.
