The Canadian Union of Public Employees says education support staff at the Northwest Catholic District School Board have voted to ratify a new two-year contract.
The union says the agreement addresses a number of issues of importance to its members, including better job security, and better sick leave support.
The union, however, says its still considers Bill 115 to be an infringement on the democratic rights of its members.
CUPE says it will continue campaigning until provincial leaders promise to end their attack on collective bargaining rights.
A similar deal has also been reached with support staff with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
