New Coordinator For Path Of The Paddle

The Path of the Paddle Association has introduced a new Coordinator.

Thunder Bay’s David Jackson has been hired to a 10-month part time contract.

Chair of the Board Ember McKillop says he brings over 10 years of experience of project management, assignment writing, photograph, and paddling.

She adds Jackson has worked for various commercial clients, private publications, magazine, newspapers, and not for profits to tell their stories in a clear, concise and creative way.

McKillop notes he has the ability to bring larger projects to life and can help inspire people to visit this part of the country.

She adds he will bring a unique skill set to the organization and has an understanding of the key goals of the trail and its connection to local communities.

McKillop notes Jackson will navigate the organization towards creating a one of a kind tourism experience for paddlers across Northwestern Ontario.

Visit Path of the Paddle for more information on the unique portion of the 23,000 kilometre Trans Canada Trail.
