Officials say the new case is connected to a previously announced case.

The Health Unit doesn’t comment on specific details including the exact location of the test result.

It is recommended that everyone assume COVID-19 is in their community and practice preventive measures like physical distancing, wearing a mask in enclosed public spaces and when physical distancing is a challenge, good hand hygiene, and not touching their face.

Anyone who has symptoms, or who has been in contact with a positive case, should self-isolate and get tested

Non-essential travel is not recommended, especially to Manitoba, and if you do have to travel you are asked to self-isolate for 14 days.
