New COVID Case In Rainy River Area

The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting one new case of COVID-19 in the District of Rainy River.

There are now 27 active cases in that area.

Officials are also reporting 22 cases in the Kenora region and two in the Dryden/Red Lake district.

There have been 223 cases since the start of the pandemic.

From January 4th to 10th, a total of 2,675 tests were completed with a test positivity rate of 1.68-per cent.

Province-wide a total of 3,338 new cases are being reported Monday with 29 more deaths.
