New Curling Association

The Northern Ontario Curling Association has been formed to support
and grow the sport from an area spanning the Manitoba border to Moose
Factory and Mattawa.
4 Associations have officially amalgamated to form the governing body
and Executive Director Leslie Kerr says it will allow for groups to share
ideas and resources.
Kerr says the Association will provide training for coaches,
instructors, ice technicians, club managers and volunteers.
She adds the group will aim to increase opportunities to play at
the competitive level.
