The Municipality of Red Lake will soon be offering a Childcare Centre and Toy Library at Red Lake-Madsen Public School.
The project has been in the planning stage for a year, but was delayed thanks to a $300,000 cost overrun.
Town CAO Brian Andersen says renovations to the school will now move ahead thanks to an agreement between the Municipality and Kenora District Services Board.
Renovations are expected to be completed by the end of March at which time the Day Care will be open for business.
