New Directors Step Up To Save Moosefest

Dryden’s annual Summer Festival will continue.
A new board of directors has come forward to organize Moosefest.
A recruitment event was held last night at the Holiday Inn Express, hosted by outgoing Director Dana Soucie.
Soucie says while it was a small turnout, she is thankful that people decided to step to the plate and save the Dryden tradition.
Pame Williams will serve as the Director/Chair, Linda Truderung is taking over as Vice Chair, Kayla Gadd is filling the position of Secretary and Kevin Davidson will become Treasurer.
All of the new directors say they didn’t want to see the festival fall, and that it’s important to keep it alive so that people in the community can come together and have fun.
Soucie says she will also sit as an adviser for the newly formed group, as a volunteer city representative.
Moosefest was at risk of being dissolved unless new organizers stepped up.
While the new directors still have time to get adjusted to their roles, they plan to meet again on November 12th to discuss how they will move forward.
