The future of the proposed new Super School in Dryden is unclear after the Province removed $25-million from the Education Capital Improvement Project Fund Wednesday.
The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board says they are hoping to still secure the necessary funding but note they won’t know the school’s future for a few more weeks.
The Liberal Government plans to go into a deficit in 2008-2009, as a way to ensure education and health care funding is preserved.
The operating funding for School Boards will be maintained for this school year.
