The City of Dryden is welcoming a new Fire Chief.

Rob Grimwood has been appointed Chief and Community Emergency Management Coordinator.

Grimwood has 23 years of experience as both a volunteer and career firefighter with the last 12 serving as Fire Chief in multiple communities including Niagara-On-The-Lake.

Mayor Greg Wilson says “his experience and proven leadership will be a great addition to the Dryden Fire Service and the community”.

Grimwood says he’s excited about the opportunity and he looks forward to working with all of the firefighters to continue the great work they do in keeping the community safe.

He officially starts his work on August 12th.
