New Gold Moving Forward

New Gold is pushing forward on its Rainy River gold project.
The company is currently going through the environmental assessment.
Vice-president of Operations Ernie Mast says the project is right on schedule.
Mast says the assessment should be completed by the end of the year and construction should start early next year.
New Gold is also doing some additional drilling that will include exploring the potential of expanding the original footprint of its open pit mine.
