New Government Excites School Board

Ontario’s new Liberal Government has made a lot of education promises.
Anti-bullying, mentoring programs, hard caps on primary grades and full day kindergarten were all part of the Grit platform.
Rainy River District School Board Director of Education Warren Hoshizacki says he is anxious to meet with the new Minister of Education and find out what happens next.
Hoshizacki adds Trustees are already researching what some of the promises could mean locally.
Meantime, Officials here will celebrate the grand opening of New Prospect School in Dryden this afternoon at 4:30.
