New Grant For Rural Food Banks

A new grant has been available for area Food Banks, including the Dryden Food Bank.
The Ontario Association of Food Banks and the Ontario Grocery Foundation have announced the launch of the “Rural Kids Program”, which is only available to rural food banks and the children that they serve.
Executive Director Bill Laidlaw says grants range from $1,000-$10,000.
Laidlaw says submissions are sent to their office and a committee will decide the winners.
