New Head Coach for Ice Dogs

The Dryden Ice Dogs have introduced a new Head Coach.
The Junior Hockey team has signed Joe West, a native of Winnipeg.
West says he’s excited to get going.
The 48-year-old won a Royal Bank Cup as a player and played college hockey at Northern Michigan.
He coached 10-seasons in Germany and won a league crown and served as a scout for the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League last season.
West says his players will have some creativity on offence but notes he demands structure on defense.
West stresses he loves to play a high transition game, with a heavy emphasis on forechecking and playing hard.
He will also serve as co-General Manager with Director of Hockey Operations Brad Boyko.
