The Dryden Native Friendship Centre has a new home.
The Centre has purchased the Queen Street Station.
The facility will be renovated to become a fully accessible Native Friendship Centre, with two full functioning floors.
The Centre will have meeting rooms, a gathering area and plenty of office space.
A project manager and architects have been secured to assist with construction.
A request for tenders will be put out shortly and work is expected to last 3 to 4 months.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs-Friendship Centre Infrastructure Program.
