The Ontario Aboriginal Housing Service has approved funding to establish new housing units in two communities.
The Dryden Urban Aboriginal Housing Group has received $4.8-million to develop 30-new Units.
Its not clear where those spaces will be created but sources say the Group has purchased the former Weyerhaeuser Learning Centre.
Sioux Lookout has received $2.5-million to establish 15-new Units.
The OAHS addresses the housing needs of aboriginals living off-reserve.
