Transportation Minister Kathleen Wynne has unveiled a new photo
I-D card for people who don’t have a driver’s licence.
The card costs 35 dollars and is valid for five years.
The government first promised the cards three years ago, along
with an enhanced card that could be used to cross the U-S border.
But Wynne says the government decided to put the enhanced card on
hold because of the cost.
