The Town of Ignace has expanded recreation opportunities for area youth and adults.
The community has officially opened the new Soccer Field on Pine Street near the Lion’s Hall.
The idea started back in 2005 when Bryan Eschbach started a positive action group called ‘Ignace Can’.
Lee Kennard of Elk Construction supplied the manpower and equipment to do the earthwork and thus the field will now be named ‘Kenn Kick Park’.
