Dryden Council has approved a new five year lease agreement impacting the Ministry of Natural Resources.
The deal is with Infrastructure Ontario and allows for MNR growth on the site of the Dryden Regional Airport.
Airport Manager Norm Sanders says expansion plans will allow for trailer based units for the MNR forward attack bases.
Sanders stresses they have a great working relationship with the MNR
He notes the project could lead to additional jobs for the MNR.
The lease agreement will add additional revenue of over $18,000 for the City.
