New Lieutenant Governor set to be sworn in

A date has been set for the swearing in of Ontario’s next Lieutenant Governor.

Edith Dumont will be installed on Tuesday, November 14th.

She becomes the first Franco-Ontarian to be Ontario’s Lieutenant Governor and replaces Elizabeth Dowdeswell who has held the ceremonial title since 2014.
