The first step in what could be a major marketing overhaul for the Kenora District Services Board has been completed.
The Board has approved a new logo and tag-line.
The new tag-line is ‘Caring/People/Community/Support’.
REACH Marketing Owner Dianne Schwartz-Williams says that’s what the KDSB is all about.
The logo shows 4-people of different colours, sizes and ages standing next to the KDSB letterhead, with the name and tag-line underneath.
Schwartz-Williams says the logo symbolizes people working together and the four divisions of KDSB; Land Ambulance, Ontario Works, Child Care and Housing.
This could be just the beginning.
The Board has received 26-pages of recommendations, however some on the Board are questioning the price-tag and importance of implementing some of the recommendations.
Schwartz-Williams says there is an immediate need for a new KDSB website and the use of social media.
