New Police Chief First Priority for Board

Finding a new Chief of Police.
That’s the first priority for the Dryden Police Services Board, now that Council has given it some direction on its future.
Chair Bill Hovi says the hiring process will begin next Wednesday.
Last month, Chief Shayne MacKinnon announced that he would be retiring this Spring.
Meantime, the process of finding a replacement for retiring City Manager Arie Hoogenboom has started.
