Ontario First Nations.
The North-South Partnership Report suggests living conditions on First
Nation communities are comparable to third world countries.
Webequie Chief Scott Jacobs says he hopes that the study
will attract the Feds attention.
Jacobs says they still need solid housing projects
and suicide awareness programs.
The report says aboriginals face numerous probelms including a lack
of infrastructure, physical and mental concerns and poverty.
Research was conducted with input from Webequie and New Osnaburg first nations.
