New Service at Dryden Hospital

The Dryden Regional Health Centre is now a new Telestroke Referring site.
When a patient shows signs of a stroke, the physician can connect to neurology specialists in other parts of Ontario using live 2-way videoconferencing.
Hospital officials say in specific cases, clot dissolving drugs may be administered.
The installation of the new CAT Scan Unit made this program possible.
