New Superintendent of Education named by KPDSB

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has promoted a veteran teacher to its administrative team.

Jennifer Gray has been named a Superintendent of Education.

She has been with the school board since 2003.

She started as a teacher, later becoming principal and Special Education Lead.

She is currently the central administrator in Special Education and Safe Supportive Schools.

“I am deeply honoured to serve the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board as Superintendent and to contribute to the continued success of our students, staff, families, and communities,” states Gray in a release.

I look forward to working closely with our incredible team to build on the fantastic work already underway and to ensure that both staff and students are empowered to learn, grow, and succeed together.”

“Jennifer brings a deep commitment to equity, high expectations for every learner, and the ability to focus on the learning conditions required so all students can thrive.”

Gray will start her new position in August.
