A Northwestern Ontario campowner is optimistic that a new marketing program for the North will do a better job of selling the region than previous initiatives.
Donna Hanson is a member of the Northern Ontario Tourism marketing Board and says all the members of the committee are from the North and they understand what makes the region a unique vacation destination.
The Province has pledged $100,000 to help promote the region in the wake of the SARS outbreak.
