The owner of a local towing company welcomes new provincial legislation designed for the safety of his drivers.
The new law requires any vehicle approaching a stopped tow truck to slow down and move over.
Dave Allen of Gary’s Towing says it’s definitely needed.
The new law comes into effect September 1st and makes passing a tow truck the same as passing an emergency vehicle.
