War Amps of Canada says key tags should start showing up in local mailboxes this week in northwestern Ontario.
Bob Maguire is a spokesperson for the War Amps and says the key tags are a completely free service.
“These key tags safeguard your keys,” explains McGuire.
“Car keys are expensive. Fobs can cost anywhere up to $500 dollars now. If you were to lose your keys with the key tag on them, all anyone has to do it call the 1-800 number on the back or throw them in any Canada Post mailbox and the War Amps will return you keys absolutely free of charge.”
Maguire adds that the War Amps key tags can be put on anything that people frequently lose, from house keys to even cell phones.
“Year after year we’ve been trying to send the key tags out to as many Canadians as possible. These key tags are a free service. Anyone that wants them can go to our website which is: waramps.ca or call 1-800-250-3030 and get a free pair of these key tags.”
