Resolute Forest Products is announcing the construction of a new industrial wood pellet plant in Thunder Bay.
The company says construction of the new plant is expected to start shortly and is scheduled for completion in 2014.
Resolute says the plant will be built adjacent to their sawmill in Thunder Bay.
President and C.E.O. Richard Garneau says “Wood pellets are a clean, renewable energy source and together with other biofuel opportunities, a natural fit for Resolute.
