Plans to create a new Youth Centre in Sioux Lookout continue to move forward.
The Town has agreed to help the Anti-Racism Committee explore funding opportunities.
Committee Member Mark Gaudet says more then 3-thousand kids use the Centre at the Arena on a yearly basis and notes it’s no longer big enough.
Gaudet says they plan to restore the former Sioux Hotel.

A Public Open House is planned for the near future to discuss the project and how it fits into Downtown Revitalization plans.
