We find out more information Monday about the arrest of 2-Dryden residents.
The RCMP have scheduled a News Conference for 1 o’clock at the RCMP Detachment in Winnipeg.
A joint firearms and weapons investigation by members of the RCMP Canadian Firearms Program, National Weapons Enforcement Support Team, Brandon Police Service, OPP and Dryden Police occurred December 12th and 13th.
The investigation led to the arrest of 71-year-old Robert MacGillivray who was named in a Dryden Police Services press release, as well as a second Dryden resident who has not been identified.
Officers seized long guns, handguns, switch-blade knives and high capacity magazines and numerous charges were laid.
The story has received national attention.
