Next Step In KPMG Plan

Dryden Council now as the daunting task of picking through the suggestions contained in the KPMG draft report and weeding them out.
KPMG will meet with individual councillors one-on-one in the coming weeks and will ask them to pick out viable options.
Once a consensus is reached the consulting firm will work with the Treasurer and CAO to determine the impact on the 2014 budget.
The firm will also provide financial projections and financial impacts over a period of roughly 3-years.
Mayor Craig Nuttall says it will be a difficult process because every councillor has their own views.
Nuttall is confident they will come out of this with a solid plan to help the community.
KPMG will be presenting their final report to Council in early December.
