The SIJHL has a new leader.
Thunder Bay-born Darrin Nicholas has been named its Commissioner.
He’s been involved with amateur hockey for over 30 years, including coaching the Thunder Bay Kings and serving as Assistant Coach for the Lakehead University Thunderwolves.
“To add my name to a list of such distinguished and esteemed builders in HNO history is truly humbling and I am eager to carry the torch for the SIJHL,” Nicholas says.
He replaces Bryan Graham, who stepped down in June.
