Fort Frances Lakers defenceman Nick Minerva has been named SIJHL Player of the Month for November.
In seven games last month, the Lakers assistant captain recorded a goal and 10-assists.
His only goal was a game winner in a shootout against Dryden GM.
He helped lead Fort Frances to a 5-1-1 record.
The 19-year-old tops all league defenceman in points-per-game average at 1.50, while sitting tied for second in offensive production among blueliners with 20-points.
The three-year SIJHL veteran has 71-points in 108-career games.
Derek McPhail of the Ice Dogs and Alex Maticic of the English River Miners also received consideration.
