A trio of night hunters, including a father and daughter, have been fined 55-hundred dollars.
22-year-old Jasmine Bruyere of Couchiching First Nation, her father, 47-year-old Ted Bruyere and 25-year-old Tyler McMahon were all fined in connection with night hunting and using a light to hunt.
According to details revealed in court, the incident occurred last November when Treaty Three Police and MNR conservation officers found two white-tailed deer in a field just north of Highway 11.
The three were also warned for hunting in a semi-built up area with the nearest house about 80 metres away.
