The Northwestern Independent Living Services has received a $112,000 Trillium grant to carry out 6 key programs.
Project Co-ordinator Renee Brady says they plan to hold workshops in Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances next Spring to help those with disabilities.
The sessions will provide group support and offer educational and job opportunities.
Brady says they also hope to offer a fully accessible camp program with the grant funding.
The money has already allowed NILS to purchase zoom print technology for the visually impaired.
