When we head to the polls next provincial election, we won’t be adding any additional northern members to Queen’s Park.
The Liberals have decided to maintain the status quo and keep the number of ridings in the north at 11.
The government says the Electoral Boundaries Act will ensure we will continue to have effective representation in Toronto.
However, the number of ridings in southern Ontario will go up to mirror federal riding changes.
