As provincial and municipal leaders across the province take precautionary measures to prevent a spread of COVID-19, social media speculation is driving rumours that it has already arrived.
The Northwest Health Unit has issued a statement confirming there are no diagnosed cases of COVID-19 in our area.
The Health Unit recommends no unnecessary travel outside of the country and reminds those traveling to foreign destinations with children that the children will have to self-quarantine on their return to Ontario.
