No Fire Ban in Northwest

The Ministry of Natural Resources has no plan at this time to impose a
restricted fire zone in Northwestern Ontario.
Outdoor fires are no longer allowed in the Northeast Region because
of the prolonged heat wave and dry weather.
Information Officer Travis Moffatt says the hazard remains high in
this Region.
Moffatt says people are urged to use extreme caution with outdoor
fires and he suggests using gas stoves.
