The drinking water in Dryden and Atikokan has tested negative for lead.
The Province ordered the 2-communities and several others to test
older homes for lead after positive results were uncovered in London.
Public Works officials in Dryden and Atikokan say they weren’t
anticipating any problems.
The question of who is covering the cost of the tests remains
uncertain.
Dryden is expected to send the Province a bill to cover lab costs.
