Only a handful of northwestern Ontario First Nations have posted their financial statements online.
The new Aboriginal Affairs’ First Nations Financial Transparency Act set a deadline of midnight Tuesday night to post the statements.
However, compliance has been low across the region including Wabigoon, Eagle Lake and Lac Seul.
Lac La Croix in the Rainy-River district has complied.
Information shows Chief Norman Jordan earning a salary of almost $73,000, and paid an extra $29,000 extra in expenses.
Four councillors earned between $46,000-$59,000 plus expenses.
Information from other communities are expected to be up and available over the next few weeks.
