No Problems At Local Long-Term Care Homes

A clean bill of health for Princess Court in Dryden.
The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care inspection reports have been made public.
An inspection was held at the Dryden long-term care home on July 25th and there were no outstanding issues or non-compliance issues identified.
The last reported inspection at the William “Bill” George facility in Sioux Lookout was on several occasions in 2012.
The inspectors report identified custodial issues and an automated door that wasn’t working properly.
There were fears that the door would close prematurely on a resident or visitor.
Officials at the long-term care home says both issues have been addressed.
