The City of Dryden is refusing to back a Kenora resolution calling on the Province to incorporate snowmobiling trail fees into Ontario’s vehicle
registration program.
All money collected from the fees would be distributed to snowmobile clubs for trail development and maintenance.
Council voted against the idea (6-0) Monday night and Dennis Wintle says the last thing snowmobilers want to do is pay more to ride the trails.
