A resounding win for the anti-fluoride group!
Dryden residents voted 87% in favour of not fluoridating the
water supply in Yesterday’s by-election.
Robert Button was involved in the ‘No’ campaign and says he was elated
with the result.
Button says this time democracy was allowed to happen.
Dryden residents voted 56% in favour of fluoride in the 2006
Municipal election but critics complained the campaign was one-sided.
A total of 2,194 ballots were cast yesterday and voter turnout was
35%.
