The Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce
has lost two of their key speakers at this weekends annual
general meeting in Atikokan.
David Emerson, Federal Minister of International Trade &
Dwight Duncan, the Provincial Minister of Energy have both
backed out.
CAO Mary Irwin Long says the lack of big names in
attendance, won’t stop them from discussing the greatly
anticipated energy plan for the north.
