The Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association is planning to take a different approach to the Energy East Pipeline project.
NOMA has decided not to seek intervenor status at National Energy Board Hearings.
President of the association, Dave Canfield says instead they will be workingthrough Common Voice Northwest.
He says they hope to hire an intern to do the research needed for their submission to the NEB.
Common Voice Northwest will be meeting with it’s partners this Friday to dissuss its future direction as well as Energy East.
